Scanner software loves a blank back side. PDF North does not auto-detect emptiness; you list the pages to drop — 2, 5-7 — and it copies everything else into a new file. That is enough for most “remove blank pages” jobs and stays on the device.

How to do this in PDF North

Open the PDF and note every blank, duplicate or advertising sheet by page number.
Open Delete PDF Pages, choose the file, and enter those numbers or ranges.
Download the cleaned copy and confirm at least the pages you meant to keep are present.

Delete versus extract

Delete is the right verb when you know the junk pages. Extract is the right verb when you know the keepers. A 40-page scan with two blank backs is a delete. A 40-page report when you need pages 3, 8 and 14–16 is an extract. Both copy PDF pages; neither flattens them.

Why there is no “detect blank” button

A page can look empty and still hold a white image, a hidden header, or an invisible annotation. Auto-delete would be a confident way to destroy a nearly-blank signed leaf. Listing page numbers is slower and safer. The tool refuses an empty output, so you cannot delete every page by mistake.

Clean the set, then finish the document

Can PDF North find blank pages automatically?

No. Enter the page numbers you want removed. Automatic blank detection is not offered.

What happens if I try to delete every page?

The tool stops. At least one page must remain in the download.

Does deleting pages upload the PDF?

No. Remaining pages are copied in this browser. The original file is not overwritten.

Will delete shrink the file a lot?

Removing empty sheets helps. Image-heavy keepers still need Compress PDF if a megabyte cap remains.
